Meet Our Coaches

Coach Jeremy

Jeremy grew up in Kingsport, TN with his dad, Dennis, and three brothers (Jason, Brandon, and Chris). He currently resides in Cane Ridge with his girlfriend Courtni, dog Stella, and cat Mahgeetah. Jeremy is an avid Vols fan (Go Big Orange!) and loves attending all sorts of sporting events and watching games on TV. He also loves playing basketball with his friends and taking care of his two fur babies. Most weekends, you can find him hiking outdoors somewhere in Middle Tennessee with his girlfriend, Courtni and Stella. He also has a passion for live music and tries to take advantage of all the great shows that Nashville and the surrounding areas have to offer. He attended Dobyns-Bennett High School where he played basketball and baseball. Jeremy attended Middle Tennessee State (MTSU) where he earned a degree in Basic and Applied Sciences with a focus in Secondary Education and Athletic head coaching. He enjoyed playing pick-up basketball games at the rec center on campus each week. After he graduated in December of 2015, he was a substitute teacher for Metro Nashville Schools. He has been working at LPG for over two years now and in August 2016, he accepted a full time manager position with the company. He enjoys the opportunity to get to play sports with kids all day, and also gets the privilege of teaching these kids, which is his passion. Coming from an educational background, he loves to be able to see the kids improve physically, mentally, and socially, all while having fun!

Coach Kyle

Kyle grew up in Highgate Center, Vermont where his parents, John and Robin, brother Nathan and dog Dixie currently reside. Kyle currently lives in Nashville and enjoys watching sports especially cheering on the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. When he’s not coaching or watching sports he enjoys spending time with his friends going to country concerts, hiking, swimming, working out and playing men’s league games. He loves going back to Vermont to visit family and friends where you can find him in the woods hunting or fishing at his family camp on Lake Eligo. He went to high school at Missisquoi Valley Union H.S  where he played cross country, soccer, basketball and baseball and was apart of three state championships. He then attended St. John Fisher College in Rochester, N.Y  and graduated in December of 2014 earning a degree in Communications for Journalism and Broadcasting with a minor in Sport Management. Kyle has worked at LPG Sports Academy since July 2015, and accepted a full time manager position in August of 2016. He loves teaching kids and wants to be a positive role model in young kids lives, teaching them not only athletic skills, but life skills that they can use off the playing field all while putting a smile on their faces.

Coach Amber

Amber grew up in Geneva, NY, where her family currently resides. She enjoys baking/cooking and running/hiking during her free time. She loves the Boston Red Sox and the Dallas Cowboys and loves anything Italian and eating ice cream. She attended DeSales High School in Geneva where she played softball, basketball and soccer. She attended Nazareth College in Rochester earning her undergraduate degree. She would then earn her master's degree from Vanderbilt University. After college she taught third grade in N.Y. for two years and coached high school softball and middle school basketball; she has since taught 7th grade English in Murfreesboro, and is in her second year of teaching Special Education at Brentwood. Amber started working with LPG September of 2012 and wanted to work here because she loves working with younger kids and loves sports.

Coach Matt

Matt grew up in Chicago, IL and currently lives in Thompson’s Station with his wife, two sons and are expecting their baby girl a week before Christmas. Having grown up in the suburbs of Chicago he is a die hard fan of the Cubs, Bears, and Blackhawks. (To the point his son’s identify them as baseball, football, and hockey respectively.) He enjoys attending baseball and hockey games, watching football and playing darts with his friends. Throughout his life Matt has played baseball, football and wrestled competitively. Matt attended high school and college in West Tennessee with a major in Physical Therapy. After school he decided to pursue a career path with Coca-Cola and then the TN distributor of Red Bull. Matt began his role as 'Coach' with LPG in the Spring of 2014 to fulfill his passion for furthering the development and enrichment of children's lives through sports and the life lessons that can be learned along the way.

Coach Bob

Bob moved a lot growing up and ventured from Virginia to Nebraska to Colorado and ultimately stayed in Reno, Nevada. His earliest sports memories always involved the Denver Broncos which is his favorite team along with the Colorado Avalanche and Rockies. Since moving to Tennessee he has warmed up to liking the Titans and Predators. He also enjoys watching college football and baseball. He went to high school in Reno, Nevada where he played football and basketball. After suffering a broken foot his senior year he turned his interest into studying sports injuries. He attended University of Nevada where he studied athletic training. He completed two internships with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before attending the University of Florida and worked as a graduate assistant with the Gator football team. He started his professional career in athletic training in Nashville working with several high school. He later became the head athletic trainer for the Nashville Kats of the Arena Football League. He now puts his knowledge about sports injuries, prevention of injury, treatment and rehab to use as a surgical sales consultant for leading surgery company, helping orthopedic surgeons. Bob has been with LPG since the fall of 2015. He loves sports and kids and the combination of the two in advancing our mission of a part time coach.

Coach Morgan

Morgan Allen grew up in Los Angeles, California. She attended Dorsey High School where she played softball and cheered. After high school she attended Fisk University where she studied Psychology and Education. She also played softball and cheered there as well. Her favorite sports team to watch is LSU softball. Her favorite food is potatoes. Her future plans is to become an Education Specialist. She started working at LPG in June and loves her job here because she has a passion for working with children and playing sports

Coach Jana

Jana Parker was born and raised in Midland, TX. She is married to Dave Parker and have two wonderful children ages 4 and 7. In her spare time she loves to read, play games, and go hiking. Her favorite sports teams are the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers. She graduated from Robert E. Lee high school in Texas where she played soccer. After high school she attended the University of Texas of the Permian Basin to become a teacher. After earning her degree she taught elementary school for three years and then moved on to private school for another four. She has been working at LPG since April 2017 and what she loves most about her job is meeting new kids and helping them grown in confidence and in skill. 

Coach Kevin

Kevin was born in Wausaukee, WI. His parents names are Kim and Rick and he has twin siblings, Eric and Kearsten. He’s a huge Green Bay Packers and Nashville Predators fan. He enjoys watching sports, mainly football, while eating a nicely grilled steak. He attended Wausaukee High School where he played football, baseball and basketball. After high school he earned a degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sports Management, Exercise Science and Athletic Training at Concordia University St. Paul. While in college he played Div. II football there as a tight end. After college he worked for Life Time fitness for six years in Minneapolis and Tampa, FL. He has worked for LPG Sports Academy since May of 2016. He wanted to work here because working with children is a pastime of his and he wanted to be an influential role model for kids who want to play sports.

Coach Lydia

Lydia grew up in Loxahatchee, FL with her parents Nick and Jenn and little brother Nick. She is obsessed with anything Disney related and a huge Nashville Predators and Green Bay Packers fan. She attended Seminole Ridge High School in Loxahatchee where she played lacrosse. After high school she attended Urbana University on a lacrosse scholarship and currently attends Middle Tennessee State studying Elementary Education. The last four years she has worked at Life Time Fitness and currently works as a construction project coordinator. She has worked at LPG Sports Academy since June and wanted to work here because LPG shared the same values as she did coaching children and teaching them the fundamentals of different sports.
